The Team
Rathbones offers Stocks & Shares ISAs and Junior ISAs. Rathbones Stocks & Shares ISAs are “flexible” meaning that cash can be withdrawn without being lost from the ISA wrapper provided it is repaid within the same tax year. JISAs are available up to the age of 18 and can be closed with all investments converted into a ‘full’ ISA upon completion of an ISA Client Agreement.
This team is responsible for offering technical guidance to all parties within Rathbones concerning HMRC ISA rules, ensuring that Rathbones do not breach any regulations which could result in penalties being levied.
The team is also responsible for the submission of all HMRC reports: a monthly tax reclaim (ISA 10) and annual summaries of our subscriptions and investments (ISA 14a, ISA40 and Return of Information).
Rathbones also offer “APS” (Additional Permitted Subscriptions) whereby a surviving spouse/civil partner can add the value of a deceased spouse/civil partner’s ISA to their own. In all instances where the ISA holder dies, the account now becomes a “Continuing ISA Account of a Deceased Investor” (CISA).
