Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing project teams in the delivery of street lighting installation and maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
2. Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans for street lighting projects, including timelines, resource allocations, and budget management.
3. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies specific to street lighting and associated works, including road closures and traffic management.
4. Administering contracts effectively, managing variations, and addressing claims to optimize project outcomes.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies.
6. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
7. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in relation to street works and lighting installation.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in project management, specifically with street lighting projects.
2. Strong knowledge of street lighting systems, installation processes, and relevant street works regulations.
3. Demonstrable experience in managing projects from inception through to completion, with the ability to deliver within deadlines and budgets.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
