Job summary The ABUHB CONNECT Children's Weight Management Service was the first in Wales and currently includes a Specialist Dietitian, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Physician, Therapy Assistant Practitioner, and this Paediatric Practitioner Psychology post. The MDT supports children and their families to manage their weight and wellbeing through individualised interventions delivered via one to one, group, face to face, and virtual clinics depending on the needs of the child, young person, and their family. Main duties of the job The Paediatric Practitioner Psychologist post offers an exciting opportunity to join an established Children's Weight Management Service working alongside existing psychology posts in the Adult Weight Management team and within a supportive and innovative Paediatric Multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a clinician who is motivated and highly empathetic with experience working with children with chronic conditions and their families.
