An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estée Lauder Companies Supply Chain function for a Commercial Region Senior Supply Planner for a 12month fixed term contract. The Supply Planner will be responsible for inventory management across a Brand/cluster of Brands for the UK Region. The position will drive inventory optimization whilst maintaining service delivery and enhancing decisions by improving supply chain analytics and reporting. This will involve utilising systems and driving process enhancements, including SAP, o9, Noodle AI and Power BI to provide a service quality that supports the brands consumer promise. The role will require building compelling narratives to explain and improve business performance, whilst developing & maintaining collaborative relationships, that support and deliver a best-in-class Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Effectively collaborates with Demand Planning, Global Supply Chain, Brands and Finance generate balanced supply plans based on agreed objectives and operating guidelines via the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
2. Responsible for managing and continuously improving the plan and delivery of finished goods supply from manufacturing locations to the UKDC
3. Responsible for achieving Customer Service / Fill Rates and Days of Supply Inventory targets using Noodle AI and o9. Regularly review with COE teams (GNPO &GIPO) to optimize regional supply planning parameters and to interface with other region’s Supply Planning and Operations to support the UK service level and retailer objectives.
4. Responsible for defining tactics and action plans to achieve the regional inventory and service level KPI’s. Conducts monthly inventory reviews with the commercial teams to optimize inventory and prevent excess. Additionally, responsible for publishing regional reports and initiatives to manage excess and surplus inventory levels.
5. Collaboratively develop strategic regional allocations, supply commits and plan for the operational horizon based on o9 MPS / DRP solves.
6. Coordinate the Monthly launch and event planning and execution process, pro-actively managing and communicating risks.
7. Manage the planning and execution of the Holiday programme.
8. Support process integration with the Demand Planning, Retail Supply Chain and Distribution & Logistics functions.
9. Drive core elements of the IBP process evolution through Brand partnership and collaboration.
10. Assertively escalate and clearly communicate issues, as well as developing, driving, and implementing resolution.
11. Manage and execute wider supply chain projects.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:
12. Educated to degree level or equivalent
13. Strong quantitative and analytical skills including Power BI
14. Attention to detail & high levels of accuracy
15. Experience of managing a team
16. Advanced user skills of Excel and SAP BI
17. Advanced systems competency, particularly SAP SCM/ECC & APO
18. Ability to interpret data and translate into insights and actions
19. Confidence liaising with senior management and key stakeholders and making recommendations.
20. Proven project management skills
21. Self-directed, proactive and operates under general or minimum supervision
