Reporting to the Process Leader, you will oversee the management of the line/area in their absence. You will also be responsible for ensuring food safety and maintaining the quality of the products according to customer specifications and exceptional quality standards. Your role will support the delivery of production plans, aiming to meet all manufacturing and product quality targets. This position is within the Stores team. Shift Pattern: Full-time, Tuesday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00, and Saturday from 06:00 to 14:00. Pay: £13.20 per hour Documenting the timeline of safety and quality checks to confirm with legislation and customer requirements. Ensuring Line / Area operating within adheres to food safety and quality requirements of our customers and reporting non-conformances where applicable. “The PCO thinks ahead” and considers the run order for the whole shift Ensuing right ingredients, product, labels, and packaging are ready for production / packing and the integrity of the products being delivered to line comply with requirements Ensuring correct labelling information is correct at all steps of the process Recording data accurately, concisely with honesty. Ensuring the quality of the product on the line is checked at consistent intervals and coaching fellow work colleagues on how to achieve right first-time conformance. Ensure KPI’s are consistent, honest, open, routinely reviewed. And any other reasonable request To act as a role model for safety behaviours on site and be able to deliver quantifiable results in reporting safety issues, health issues and deal with these proactively.
