We have an exciting opportunity to work within our MSK Physiotherapy Service across East Berkshire as a member of our First Contact Practitioner team. We work with a growing number of PCN's across Slough, located within the GP practices providing a first contact MSK service integrated into the multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking highly specialised and comprehensive triage and management of common and complex MSK conditions at first presentation in primary care. Applicants will be required to use advanced clinical reasoning skills to form accurate diagnosis and provide management plans to include further investigations, lifestyle and rehabilitation advice, onward referrals to secondary care, physiotherapy, and other members of the MDT. Main duties of the job Undertake first contact clinics working as an independent and autonomous practitioner - based in the GP surgery in Slough - working alongside the primary care MDT To assist GP's/referrers in appropriate referral decisions.
