Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join our vibrant office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a pensions administration role where they have gained knowledge and experience of defined benefit pensions schemes, client work, and performing complex calculations.
As a Senior Pensions Administrator with XPS you will:
1. Oversee the management of monthly and annual processes on the team, ensuring processes are fully monitored and completed in line with customer and legislation requirements.
2. Monitor accuracy, performance, and SLAs for the team, including activity and client performances, and take action to ensure targets are met.
3. Ensure standard documentation is scheme-specific and incorporate them into existing procedures.
4. Participate in client meetings where appropriate.
5. Handle complex pensions queries, scrutinising the work of less experienced pension administration team members.
6. Sign out non-standard letters in response to client and member queries.
7. Update relevant pension administration databases and systems.
8. Perform manual and automated benefits calculations.
9. Help identify any training needs across the team and assist with developing and mentoring team members.
Your profile:
Essential Criteria:
1. Previous pensions administration experience of Defined Benefit (DB) schemes.
2. Experience of current pensions legislation and framework.
3. IT proficient, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
4. Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent.
5. Confident communicator and problem solver.
