IT SaaS Vendor Management Lead - Permanent
Location: England, South Coast 2 days per week
Salary: Paying up to £50,000
Overview:
An interesting opportunity has arisen for a newly created role. As the SaaS Vendor Management Lead, you will be responsible for delivering business outcomes through key strategic vendor relationships, ensuring these relationships deliver on value and customer outcomes in line with the objectives.
Main Responsibilities as IT SaaS Vendor Management Lead:
1. Oversee SaaS vendor performance, developing and managing supplier relationships to protect interests and ensure costs reflect fair market value.
2. Develop and maintain SaaS assurance models for vendors within the allocated portfolio, supporting areas such as Information Security, Compliance, and Data Governance.
3. Negotiate commercial terms for strategic IT contracts to provide beneficial outcomes for the business and the customer.
4. Identify and report risks associated with existing or potential SaaS vendors.
5. Build effective strategic relationships with SaaS vendors to ensure sustainable business value is achieved.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Demonstrable experience managing SaaS vendors.
2. Experience in setting up and maintaining SaaS assurance models, including understanding Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, and Infrastructure Security.
3. Understanding of Compliance and Governance standards, including PRA S2/21 and ISO27001:2022.
4. Proven experience dealing with IT contracts with complex provisions and clauses, with a good understanding of how to discuss and negotiate contract financial terms either as a lead or as part of a negotiation team.
5. Proven ability to negotiate and deal with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, with the ability to test and challenge business assumptions.
