Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be a committed team player that displays incredibly strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
2. Understand the barriers to learning that children may face, including behavioural, emotional, and social challenges.
3. The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider pastoral and academic team in the BCET community.
4. Have strong organisational and technical skills with the ability to manage, multi-task and prioritise.
You will have:
1. NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
2. Experience working with children in a school setting.
3. The ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and other adults.
4. The ability to work with pupils one to one, in small groups, and with whole classes.

Post details: Grade 9 £23,894 - Actual Salary Term time only - 35 hours per week 8:30am - 4:00pm with a half hour lunch.
