As part of our ongoing growth in the Aviation Sector, we are looking to hire a BIM Manager to help deliver projects across all of the UK's major Airports.
As a BIM Information Manager / BIM Coordinator, you are expected to have experience working on a variety of BIM projects and handling competing priorities. Youll be part of an enthusiastic and committed team of BIM professionals working together to deliver high-quality output on projects.
What will you do
Facilitate delivery of federated 3D models, hosted and linked BIM asset data.
Conduct model validation checks, and coordination reviews and liaise with model managers for resolutions.
Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.
Create BIM documentation focused on delivering the BIM goals, launching projects collaboratively and driving forward the BIM agenda.
Carry out model validation checks in terms of geometry and data, chair coordination reviews and liaise with model managers for resolutions.
Support the deployment of field data management systems, and review the validity of information collected against information deliverables.
Collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve holistic building solutions to the customer and project brief.
Ensure that BakerHicks projects achieve BIM delivery in compliance with industry standards, EIR, BEP and BakerHicks BIM procedures
Set up BIM modelling environment and communicate access procedures to the project team
Ensure that the BIM Execution Plan including the information exchange protocols are adhered to by the project team and report on compliance issues.
Liaise with and support model authors from all sources including the design team, subcontractors, and manufacturers to ensure a fully coordinated design.

About You
Technical
Ability to use Navisworks / Solibri software accurately and efficiently for clash detection, coordination reviews and asset data auditing.
Ability to manage BIM software environments accurately and efficiently e.g. 3D, 4D, 5D, AR and VR
Possess an understanding of ISO19650, PAS1192 and other BIM standards.
Experience
Demonstrable experience as a BIM Co-ordinator, Information Manager or Technician.
An ability to appraise EIRs and develop BIM Execution Plans with clear BIM goals.
Be capable of modelling and inputting data to high-quality standards .
Previous experience operating BIM 360/ACC, Revizto or BIM Collab is desirable.
Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop relationships that deliver long-term benefits.
