Closing date - 1st January 2025 The role The Senior Healthcare C ustomer S egment M arketing M anager is a member of the newly created Customer and Market Segment team. You will contribute to the growth of our healthcare markets by owning the strategy build, development, and execution of regional marketing plans to drive growth in the healthcare customer segment. Part of this role is also to work with and support the channel partner marketing manager to reach healthcare customers in distributed territories. Key Responsibilities: Healthcare customer segment strategy development: develop strategic, multi-channel coordinated marketing plans for healthcare customers, crafting or applying competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, and staging and pacing of tactical programs to drive revenue growth Closely collaborate with product marketing managers and sales leaders to help drive portfolio strategy within the healthcare customer segment Define healthcare customer contact engagement strategy to increase the impact of marketing campaigns including but not limited to 3rd party networks, LinkedIn, ResearchGate, etc. by working closely with the campaign manager Strategy implementation: leverage the omni-channel and product marketing teams for strategy deployment and strategy execution Partner with our commercial team to build tactical plans that enable the team to deliver on the pre-defined strategy and growth commitments. Identify, plan, and manage execution of memorable in-person event experiences that align with business goals and objectives Develop marketing plans based on market trends and customer needs Direct the development of customer segment-focused content and collateral Market research & analysis: engage with product marketing, TAMs and market analyst to conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights that drive regional strategies and tactics Budget management: develop and manage the customer segment marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with sales, product, and regional marketing teams to align business objectives, product launches, and marketing initiatives Performance tracking & reporting: work with campaign managers to analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement Track leads generated from marketing activities Report and analyze program performance and sales pipeline to ensure ROI for investments and efforts Evaluate the performance of omni-channel marketing programs and recommend improvements Ensure the return on investment of marketing activities is in line with European targets Review targets and dashboards to measure efficiencies of your marketing activities; report on these metrics regularly and adjust tactics to improve performance. Additional responsibilities: Drive messaging and tools that communicate the value proposition directly to Biotech and Pharma customers through marketing campaigns, distributors, and events Develop sales enablement tools and customer-facing materials in collaboration with global marketing, marketing operations, and commercial teams. Propose and work with the market analyst to complete customer and market research programs to provide key market insights and actionable business outcomes. Provide relevant training and communicate market trends directly to sales teams on a regular basis. Support additional projects and activities as deemed necessary to support the business Collaboration: Work closely with regional and global marketing and omni-channel teams to optimize the digital media plan Align with corporate brands on value propositions Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related subject area Extensive marketing/healthcare marketing experience Experience in a marketing role, responsible for product or portfolio marketing, go-to-market strategy & execution. Proficiency in 4Ps and marketing mix, media outreach, content strategy/marketing, VOC/VOS, segmentation, multi-channel lead generation, value proposition, demand/lead generation strategies, and marketing program development and execution. Ability to prioritize and influence without authority in a large organization within a highly matrixed environment. Collaborative approach to developing and sharing strategy, tactics, and analytics. Demonstrates creativity, problem-solving ability, strong analytical and execution skills. Plan, monitor, and manage budgets, schedules, and performance requirements for the assigned business unit(s) and project(s).
