Grants and Operations Manager (Charitable Trust)

We are looking to recruit a Grants and Operations Manager. We are one of the UKs leading and award-winning providers of affordable homes in London, the South-East and surrounding areas. As a Grants and Operations Manager, you will be working within the Foundation team to support in delivering a growing grants programme and managing the operations of the Charitable Trust.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist advice and support to internal and external stakeholders, acting as Foundations subject-matter lead on grant giving regulations.
2. Lead on the design of documentation and procedures for all grant programmes.
3. Maintain accurate records for each grant and across all grant programmes, taking ownership of the HCT Grant Management System and providing accurate and up-to-date progress reports for key stakeholders.
4. Assist with the delivery of the HCTs governance, risk management, performance, monitoring and financial management activities, ensuring a fully compliant grants administration process to mitigate all identified risks.
5. Design and deliver grants feedback and evaluation activities, working in partnership with relevant colleagues across the team.
6. Produce written evidence to demonstrate the impact of the grants programmes as required, including statistical analysis, case studies and project reports.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in grant-making.
2. Familiarity with the principles of open and trusted grant-making and their application in the role.
3. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: housing/homelessness, community investment, employment, children and young people, poverty.
6. Experience in managing a variety of operational tasks.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners.
