A rapidly expanding freight forwarding organisation are looking for a professional with excellent Sea - Ocean freight client account management experience tomaintain excellent customer service for Overseas Agents, Import Clients and a range of other selected clients, In our VIP/Key accounts team.
ROLE: Customer Services - FreightLOCATION: ShipleyBASIC SALARY: Up to £31k
ROLE:You will be expected to be proactive in the role and maintain and develop business relationships. Effective communication and close teamwork is key.To provide a consistent, VIP service to external salespeople, clients and agentsMaintain consistent levels of accuracy in data records on all systems used in the roleMaintain productivity at or above agreed levelsTo work as a team to demonstrate excellence in all aspects of the teams overarching purpose.Deal with customer queries via telephone/emailMonitor and maintain shared inboxObtain pricing and provide quote and service informationUndertake customer bookings and input data into Multifreight and other systemsLiaise with Customers, sub-contractors, Suppliers and agentsProduce bills of ladingProvide bill of lading instructionsCarry out any other reasonable duties required by the businessNetworking and undertaking research, where necessary, to keep ahead of competitionPersuading customers our high service levels will satisfy their requirements in terms of quality, service and priceInterpreting and managing customer requirements speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Must have any Freight forwarding or shipping experience and excellent customer service telephone skills and experience.
