We are seeking an exceptional individual to undertake the role of Clinical Director - Salaried Dental Services within CTM UHB. This is an exciting opportunity to work with enthusiastic clinical teams across the Community Dental Services, Dental Teaching Unit and have a significant role to play in the development of integrated dental services for the population of CTM UHB. Supporting the shaping and delivery of salaried dental services aligned to WHC/2022/022. The post holder will be responsible to provide visible and effective clinical leadership, supporting the management team to deliver Salaried Dental service across the CTM footprint. This is a key and exciting role, which will act as a senior clinical voice for the service, supporting the delivery and shaping of Salaried Dental services. The scope of the role and portfolio within the Care Group may vary and develop over the course of the tenure in discussion and agreement with the Care Group Service Director/ Dental Director, in keeping with continuing development of the clinically-led operating model, maximising the benefit of the operating model for our population. Reporting to the Directorate Manager and professionally accountable to the Dental Director Primary care and Communities Care Group. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. The post holder is a member of the Care Group Clinical Leadership team, providing leadership and direction for salaried dental services within their portfolio, and collaborating with the wider clinical leadership across the health board. The post holder will support the development and delivery of high quality, effective and sustainable clinical services within allocated resources, working closely with other members of the leadership team in relation to operational management, access and delivery targets, service improvement and strategic development.
