Job Description
If making front page news is high on your to-do list, this opportunity will guarantee success as a Media Manager in the Press Office at one of the most high profile consumer brands in the UK. It’s a highly reactive role, with specific issues that you’ll own and manage, building in depth knowledge and trusted relationships with leading journalists, industry experts and internal stakeholders. You’ll be leading on front page news stories, meaty issues and film shoots for news and documentary content.
As part of the press office team, your role will help to build trust in the business and mitigate reputational risk by responding to media enquiries, writing statements and Q&As, managing filming requests and briefing spokespeople ahead of interviews.
Joining a large communications team, this is a great opportunity to develop your career and progress. Due to the reactive nature of the work, this role will involve supporting the press office outside of normal working hours as part of an on-call rota.
