We are looking for someone to join to cover maternity leave for 13 months fixed term. This role is part time - 21 hours a week.
What does a Production Operations Director do at Hogarth?
Reporting to the UK Production Operations Director (UK POD), the Production Operations Director (POD) is responsible for supporting the UK POD in driving production excellence and effecting change by defining and implementing optimal production structures and strategies.
You will work closely with the UK POD to understand Hogarth’s capabilities, offerings and tools and activate them across various accounts. You will use your problem-solving skills, judgement and strong relationship-building ability to lead, effect and implement change, best practice, and optimal ways of working.
Reporting lines and key stakeholders:
This role reports to the UK Production Operations Director. You will also support department heads across various departments and client portfolios.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and Financials
* Work with senior internal stakeholders to ensure consistent quality and accountability for financial reporting. This includes, but is not limited to company efficiency reports, global reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of all reports supplied by finance teams.
* Support our UK POD in implementing ‘the Hogarth Way’ (THW) across UK production capabilities and disciplines, ensuring seamless integration with Client Delivery across client accounts and requirements.
* Oversee maintenance of financial reports across Hogarth accounts to ensure our Billings and Revenue teams have clear and up-to-date statuses of all open jobs and acting as the point of escalation for any ongoing/new issues.
* Demonstrate the ability to forward plan and proactively solve issues.
* Act as the point of escalation for the delivery team, thinking and acting fast to resolve issues effectively.
* Lead deep dives into production disciplines, to establish and optimise production processes and ways of working. Working alongside our UK POD to optimise production across the agency.
Process
* Responsible for assessing and simplifying ways of working and processes to achieve efficiency, profitability and standardised operational practices.
* Support the UK POD with implementation of new tools and systems, becoming the “go-to support” for the wider team.
* Provide support to ensure stakeholders have the data, tools, direction and access to expertise to continually optimise the client business.
Requirements
* Ability to review and analyse data to formulate and activate operational solutions.
* Experience in change management, with a proven ability to lead and implement changes effectively within a production environment, minimising disruption while adopting new technologies and processes.
* A solid background in and relevant experience gained in an advertising environment, either in an agency, independent production company/studio or an in-house production team.
* Strong cross-capability and cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
* Leverage strong commercial knowledge and financial acumen.
* A proactive and results-driven individual who excels as both a team player and leader.
* Demonstrated experience working with Senior and Executive management.
* Excellent administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
