Salary: £41,000 per annum
Location: Working across North Essex
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
ECL are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our North Essex Team to provide physiotherapy support on a one-to-one basis to our Reablement customers. The role will be required to work across the Region and will be carried out in a combination of settings including, but not limited to, customer’s homes, the local community and ECL buildings and other business regions.
About You
To be considered as Physiotherapist, you need:
* To have a full driving licence and access to a car
* A bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
* Valid HCPC registration
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
* Previous experience of working in a community-based role
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Ability to prioritise workload under pressure and work to tight deadlines
* Comprehensive understanding of the Mental Capacity Act
* Experience in working with each of the following specialist areas: Orthopaedics; Medicine; Respiratory; Stroke/Neurology; and older people
* Experience of working with Stroke patients, patients with dementing illness, patients with complex needs, and patients with severe physical limitations to mobility
* Proven experience in participation in complex discharge planning
* Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services including experience of quality issues and audit
* To be friendly, approachable, supportive and adaptable to change
