Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time or part-time team member. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic, with a strong interest in archery and chess. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone. Handle inquiries, bookings, and member interactions in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure all visitors feel welcome and comfortable at the centre.
* Archery and Chess Activities: Assist with archery classes, chess tournaments, and other scheduled activities. Support both instructors and participants during sessions to ensure safety and an enjoyable experience.
* Operational Support: Open and close the centre on time, ensuring that all tasks are completed for a seamless transition between shifts. Keep the centre organized, clean, and well-stocked with supplies for archery and chess. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
* Social Media: Manage day-to-day social media accounts, including creating content and engaging with followers.
* Multitasking in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work efficiently in a busy environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Adapt to changing priorities and demands while maintaining a high level of service.
* Additional Duties: Be willing to work overtime as needed to support the business. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, taking payments, and handling customer requests. Contribute to the overall growth and success of the centre by offering suggestions for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Punctual and Reliable: Able to arrive on time and maintain a consistent work schedule. Willingness to work overtime as required.
* Happy and Dynamic Personality: Positive attitude and a passion for engaging with people of all ages. Energetic, enthusiastic, and ready to bring excitement to the workplace.
* Archery and Chess: A genuine interest in both archery and chess. Prior experience in either archery or chess is a plus, but not required.
* Multitasking Ability: Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and juggle various tasks effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Good Telephone Manner: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to handle calls professionally.
* Social Media Savvy: Understanding of social media platforms. Able to create engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories.
* Team Player: Able to collaborate with other team members, instructors, and management to ensure smooth operations. Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment.
