As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be working 1:1 with a pupil diagnosed with autism and challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom.

The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant should:
Required:
1. Have experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or in classes.
2. Have knowledge and understanding of various SEN needs.
3. Be flexible, patient, and proactive.
4. Be able to communicate with staff members effectively and efficiently.
5. Be trained in safeguarding or have relevant experience.
6. Be able to commute to work long term on time and accordingly.
Desirable:
1. Team Teach Trained.
2. NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
3. Understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practice.
Skills:
1. Effective communicator.
2. Time management.
3. Patience and resilience in challenging environments.
4. Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
