Role: Finance Assistant Location: Macclesfield Salary: £26-28k The Finance Assistant will be responsible for tasks such as analytical support, managing invoicing, financial data entry, and assisting with accounting functions. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with internal teams and external partners to support financial operations effectively. Key duties will include but not limited to: - Sales Ledger. - Credit Control. - Purchase Ledger. - Supplier Payments. - Bank Reconciliation. - VAT. - Expenses. - Assist with month-end processes. - Requesting and collating export document. - Updating and reviewing documentation. - Assisting with administrative tasks to support senior members of the team. - Attending internal meetings as required. - Scanning and Filing. - Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required. Skills and Experience Required: - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. - Currently pursuing AAT studies or degree qualified. - Previous experience in a fast-paced finance environment. - Experience using Sage 50 Accounts. - Resilient and adaptable when dealing with challenge and change. - Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
