Transport Administrator
Salary – £24,370–£29,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 hours per week
Location – Tunbridge Wells TN2 3EE
As a Transport Administrator at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in supporting the Transport Manager through efficient and compliant administration across our Dartford and West Kent contracts. Your focus will be on maintaining accurate fleet and driver records, co-ordinating with suppliers, processing invoices, and assisting in the overall compliance and planning efforts that keep our transport operations running smoothly.
Full training will be provided to help you succeed in your role and develop your skills.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Maintaining vehicle and driver records in line with FCC IMS standards
- Ensuring new vehicles are entered into the system correctly
- Co-ordinating with contractors and suppliers for fleet maintenance compliance
- Keeping the Fleet Maintenance Planner up to date
- Managing driver files, holiday, and sickness records for tachograph tracking
- Completing purchase order tracking and invoice processing
- Supporting training activities and compliance monitoring
- Producing monthly transport reports and contributing to KPI development
- Handling general administrative tasks and ensuring smooth office function
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in administration and planning (fleet or transport experience is desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A compliance-focused attitude and the ability to work independently
- Confidence, discretion, and a proactive mindset
A relevant qualification in administrative skills (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Business and Administration) is advantageous
