The Best Connection are currently seeking experienced Upholsterers, to work at our client, based in Sutton in Ashfield!!
We are seeking candidates with previous experience, whether that be a frame assembling role, joinery/timber based - permanent opportunities available!
Duties of the role include:
* Upholstering furniture pieces, including sofas and chairs, to the highest standards.
* Reading and interpreting design specifications and blueprints.
* Cutting, sewing, and fitting fabric or leather coverings.
* Assembling and attaching padding, springs, and other materials to furniture frames.
* Ensuring quality control and attention to detail in all aspects of upholstery work.
* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in upholstery or a related field.
* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* The ability to read and interpret design specifications and blueprints.
* Proficiency in using upholstery tools and equipment.
* Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working hours:
* 0730-1630 (Monday to Friday)
* Overtime available daily
Pay rate:
* £13.24 per hour
