Person Specification
We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Project Manager with a strong network within the building and construction industry across South Wales and beyond. You will be experienced, hold a professional qualification and will be familiar with managing multiple contractors and internal trades for the delivery of the full range of construction related services. You will be adept at working with a broad range of stakeholders, have excellent interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships. We place great value on someone who can help our business continue to grow by professionally delivering works, securing new clients and opportunities and establishing sustainable relationships. You are likely to be responsible for the concurrent management of multiple projects and these could be a portfolio of small works or a number of larger value projects.
Desirable requirements and/or experience:
* H&S professional, including preparation and review of RAMS and CPP
* Project delivery experience
* Managing variations via change control
* Provision of quotations for products and services
* Appointing and managing contractors
* Mobilising and managing delivery of contracts
* Managing all financial aspects of projects including variations and valuations
* Undertaking post project reviews
* Strong IT skills
* Financial and commercial acumen
* Excellent client facing skills
* Sourcing and procurement of materials
* Supervision and management of own team and contractors to deliver wide range of construction related projects.
* Skilled at project, programme and risk management
* NEC / Small Works contracts
* Able to work on own initiative
* Working within health and education sectors advantageous
* Refurbishment projects involving cubicle systems would be an advantage

* Our typical clients are within public and private sectors, including Local Authorities, Education, Health, Defence, Hospitality & Retail.
* With an in-house team of 15+ full time staff, we have a varied portfolio of work, from regular reactive maintenance activities to complex refurbishment projects.
* Our offices are based in Llantrisant and the majority of our work is expected to be across the South Wales area although there could be an occasional requirement to travel with overnight stays.
* The position is 40 hours per week with flexible timings to suit the project but our typical working day is from 8am to 4.30pm.
* Weekend working may be required on an occasional basis.
