Job summary
We are looking for a Part Time Reception/Admin person (25 hours per week) to join our team at Green Meadows Surgery in Ascot. The successful candidate will provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors and staff. The hourly rate for this position is £ per hour.
Main duties of the job
Greeting and directing patients and visitors to the Practice, projecting a positive and friendly image.
Receive, assist, and direct all patients and visitors in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective manner, documenting where necessary.
Answering any incoming telephone calls, ensuring all calls are documented correctly.
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the Practice Team.
About us
Green Meadows Surgery is a busy training Practice serving a patient population of 9300 and operating from purpose-built premises. We use the EMIS Web clinical system and are rated Good with CQC.
We have 4 partners, 2 salaried GPs, a nursing team of 4 and a large administrative team.

Portray the Practice in the highest possible professional basis, and ensure that enquiries from patients are effectively and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the Partners and patients.
Have the confidence to work as part of a team and the ability to "think on your feet" and the ability to follow policy and procedure.
