Showroom Sales Consultant
Recruiting in partnership with Hammonds Furniture, a family-run business that specializes in fitted furniture and tailored storage solutions. Their vision is to create well-ordered homes and believe their furniture has the power to transform living spaces.
Role Overview:
Life is chaotic. Modern homes can become hectic, cluttered, and messy. As a Showroom Sales Consultant, your role is to showcase what an ordered, calm, organized, and tidy home can feel like, to help our customers envisage and bring to life their very own stylish sanctuary in the showroom.
You'll also be speaking to customers who have contacted through digital platforms, with the aim of building rapport and encouraging them to come to the showroom or book a design visit.

3. Working collaboratively with your showroom manager and teams to continually put customers at the heart of the business;
4. Being passionate about collaboration and building meaningful relationships across the business to improve how we do things and provide the best service for our customers;
5. Focusing on converting customer interest (in person, over the phone, or digitally) into design visits, ensuring customers get the full bespoke Hammonds experience.
What It Takes:
You'll be great at reading people, spotting when a customer needs a moment, a cup of tea, or is ready to hear more about their products. You'll be attentive and brilliant at listening, really hearing what the customer is seeking to resolve. You'll then help customers by securing appointments, with the sole intent of helping them live better.
You will have a passion for style, order, and organization. As a Hammonds showroom team member, you will have the opportunity to harness your creative and strong communication skills as you support and inspire customers to select styles, colors, and finishes from the diverse fitted furniture design range, offering a completely bespoke, unique, and tailored customer service experience.
Requirements:
You will be required to work 35 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days per week between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00.
This role offers an annual basic salary of £20,820.00 plus commission payable on successful designer visits booked with an attractive average OTE of up to £23,000 uncapped earnings.
No qualifications are required for this role, and full training will be provided for you to succeed. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
