Job Purpose:
We seek an experienced, talented, and focused Project Supervisor to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for HV assets across the South of England and Scotland.

Job Context:
You will work as part of a highly skilled Engineering division supporting all aspects of HV services to our clients and customers. As part of our team, you will support your peers in the delivery of HV engineering, lead projects, and manage construction sites while ensuring a flexible work-life balance.
Job Dimensions:
You will be working with a team of skilled HV Engineers, SAPs, and supporting staff across all aspects of the HV industry. The role is home-based with travel to site works included within your working day. The core hours are 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday, with additional hours required depending on operational work and site requirements. Opportunities for additional overtime through evenings, weekends, and travel abroad are frequently available.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Supervision of working parties, construction sites, and HV projects.
2. Installation, refurbishment, maintenance of HV equipment.
3. Manage work programmes and labour scheduling.
4. Interpret electrical drawings and records.
5. Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs.
6. Complete assessments and progress reports.
7. Sub-station installation works.
8. Management of contractors, suppliers, and equipment.
9. Maintain site security and carry out audits.
10. Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required.
11. Completing RAMS, job packs, test certificates, and reports.
12. Facilitate a safe working environment during high/low voltage working.
13. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies, and procedures of Lucy Electric and its customers.
14. Maintain authorisations in accordance with legislative or safety procedures and industry best practice.
15. Liaise closely with the team to understand and manage priorities.
16. Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.
17. Switching and Linking LV systems.
18. PASMA, IPAF, SMSTS.
19. Installation and modification of AC/DC wiring.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
Minimum:
1. Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry, site and project supervision.
2. Certified in electricity at work and experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers.
3. Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
4. Computer literate – skilled in MS Office.
5. Technically qualified with a BTEC, C&G or equivalent apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
6. Full driver’s License, willingness to travel and work weekends as overtime or with a day off in the week.
7. Have, or held authorisations – Private Networks, UKPN, SSEN, WPD.
8. Training - first aid, IPAF, PASMA, SMSTS.
9. 18th edition / 2391 inspection & testing.
10. Mentoring of trainees.
11. Willingness to work weekends and call outs.
12. Willing to travel abroad to support product and customers (2/3 day trips).
13. Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant and can-do attitude.
14. Highly organised and tidy.
15. Must have a positive and confident approach to tasks.
16. Good problem-solving skills.
17. Able to work independently, within/ or leading a team.
