Working Hours: 08:30 17:00 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Locality SEND Team Lead to oversee and manage a Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) team in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to drive statutory SEND assessments, annual reviews, and improve educational outcomes for children and young people with EHCPs. Key Responsibilities: ? Lead the statutory EHC assessment & review process, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation. ? Oversee multi-agency collaboration, working with education, health, and social care professionals. ? Manage and develop a team of SEND Caseworkers, providing supervision and training. ? Ensure quality assurance of statutory SEND documents and approve EHCPs. ? Represent the Local Authority at SEND Tribunals, Mediation, and resolution meetings. ? Work closely with schools to improve SEND provision and inclusion. ? Provide expert guidance on SEND policy, legislation, and best practices. What Were Looking For: ?? Level 6 qualification in SEND or a relevant field. ?? Strong knowledge of SEND legislation (Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice, Equality Act 2010). ?? Proven experience managing complex SEND casework at a senior level. ?? Skilled in partnership working, conflict resolution, and multi-agency collaboration. ??
