The Role:
This is an amazing opportunity for graduates and for people who have experience working with children who want to move into a teaching career. You will benefit from thorough support and training from the school in order to develop your knowledge of the national curriculum.
TEFL / CELTA teachers and sports coaches are rmended to apply.
This training program will help you expand your pedagogy and improve further prospects for a teaching role in Education.
• Earn between £350 - £450 per week dependant on experience
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Small group work
• Full class responsibilities
• 1:1 support for SEN / SEND students
Working on supply as a Cover Supervisor is an excellent way of getting your foot in the door, for you to get to know a school and for a school to get to know you. You will benefit from working in one (or a range) of our Secondary and SEN schools which can be another pathway to regular, long term, or possibly permanent work.
The Training Programme:
Our Cover Supervisor Programme consists of on-the-job training in a school as well as aprehensive DPD program. You’ll learn:
• How to be an effective Cover Supervisor
• How to maximise your impact on your students’ learning
• Special Needs & Safeguarding training
As part of your enrolment on the Cover Supervisor Programme, you’ll have free access to our Hays Hub which contains numerous training courses which you can use in order to further develop your career skills.
