We are looking for an experienced Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician to join a hospital-based pharmacy team in Sunderland. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and GPHC registered pharmacy technician with prior hospital or community experience.
Key Requirements:
1. Must hold ACT qualification
2. GPHC registration is essential
3. Prior hospital or community pharmacy experience
4. Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
1. Act as an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) for prescriptions
2. Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medication
3. Work closely with pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
4. Assist in the management of medication stock and inventory
