Overview:
We are seeking a Field Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within a care setting.
Responsibilities:
* To ensure all staff provide high-quality care and support to Service Users in their own homes, including personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.
* To develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with Service Users, their families, and healthcare professionals.
* To complete all medical competences, observations of practice, manual handling checks, and spot checks on all Community Home Care staff.
* Train new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively and compassionately.
* Willingness to deliver care and support their team out on shift, when necessary.
* To support the Team Lead with the supervision of a team of carers, ensuring adherence to care plans and the highest standards of care.
* Supporting the Team Lead in completing and updating a weekly rota via the ECM system.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals and families to coordinate care and support for Service Users.
* To be part of the on-call service, on a rota basis, you will be required to assist with service user related matters, sickness, and rota cover management.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, including health and safety regulations.
* To undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
* To comply with all policies of the organisation, as appropriate.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 but full flexibility would be required to suit the needs of the business, availability every other weekend is required. Community Care hours are 06:00-22:00, 7 days a week.
What you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years care experience, a full induction and ongoing training to support you within your role will be provided.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Full driving licence and own car is essential due to the locations of some of our calls.
