About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of product strategy, driving impactful enhancements and collaborating with a talented cross-functional team. Your mission? To bring products from concept to reality while ensuring they meet the needs of our users!
You will lead a key programme aimed at introducing part-year contracts for colleagues, managing intricate calculations related to sickness, holidays, and absences. This is an opportunity to showcase your skills across both front-end and back-end systems, utilising tools like Oracle, Mira, and Jira for seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and evolve the product vision and long-term roadmap, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Spearhead the early-stage delivery of part-year contracts, ensuring all requirements are met across teams.
Oversee the design and implementation of systems for accurate accrual calculations, addressing various scenarios.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise system requirements, ensuring seamless integration.
Utilise Oracle, Mira, and Jira for effective project management and delivery.
Proactively identify project challenges, developing actionable solutions to drive progress.
Work closely with peers and senior stakeholders to shape the product's strategic direction.
Deeply understand user personas and stakeholder needs to inform product decisions.
Drive product performance and adoption, achieving measurable Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs).
Clearly document and communicate new requirements to engineering teams through user stories.
Lead sprint and release planning sessions to maximise business value delivery.
Collaborate in the discovery and validation of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for new features.
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in product management with a successful track record.
Ability to manage complex programmes, particularly in early stages of delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
Experience in backlog refinement, prioritisation, and sprint planning.
Familiarity with Oracle, Mira, and Jira for project delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A self-starter who can coordinate across teams and drive progress.
Skills in UX/UI design, user research, and customer empathy.
Expertise in experimentation, validation, and enterprise technology design.
Demonstrated ability to create and execute a product vision and strategy.
