About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team in North Surrey. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for MEP projects with a value range of £1-£5 million.
With a strong background in mechanical estimating and a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on time, you will be able to hit the ground running and make a significant contribution to our business growth.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including project managers, architects, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed estimates for MEP projects, including labour, material, and plant costs
* Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimates
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
* Work closely with project managers to ensure estimates are accurate and meet client expectations
* Monitor and control estimate costs to ensure they align with project budgets

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical estimating, preferably on MEP projects
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
