Job Description
Interpath Advisory is seeking a Director to support and foster growth in its established and rapidly scaling Real Estate Debt & Capital Advisory Group. The business has an established team which has significant experience across various sub sectors of Real Estate, including residential, hospitality, healthcare, traditional commercial Real Estate and more esoteric asset classes. The individual's primary focus will be to execute and support origination of private Equity Capital Raising and M&A mandates with additional opportunities to support with debt financing mandates where appropriate. The team is growing to become a market leading Capital Advisory business in the sector, working with a range of sponsors, corporates, investors and developers to support their funding needs.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in Real Estate Capital Markets to provide strategic advice to clients on investment opportunities, financing solutions, and asset management strategies. You will lead complex transactions, manage client relationships, and identify new business opportunities in the Real Estate sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing Real Estate transactions, including private equity capital raising, M&A and debt financing mandates. You will work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique needs.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead and manage Real Estate Capital Advisory engagements from inception to completion, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of transactions.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on all aspects of real estate capital markets.
* Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the real estate sector, providing insights to clients to inform their investment decisions.
* Create and present compelling pitch materials, investment memorandums, and financial models to support client engagements and business development efforts.
* Guide junior team members, providing mentorship and support to foster their professional development and enhance team performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams to leverage cross-selling opportunities, ensuring comprehensive service delivery to clients.
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in Real Estate Capital Markets, contributing to the growth and expansion of the firm's advisory services.
Requirements
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in Real Estate, with a strong focus on capital advisory services and transaction execution.
* Degree in finance, real estate, or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) are a plus.
* Demonstrated experience in executing large-scale real estate transactions and proven success in building and maintaining client relationships.
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
* Proficient in using technology platforms and tools for market analysis and financial modelling.
* A collaborative mindset with strong leadership skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* A well-established network of contacts within the Real Estate market.
* An in-depth understanding of market trends, investment strategies, and regulatory environments affecting real estate transactions.
