Harris Primary Academy Croydon is an inclusive primary academy in Croydon for children aged three to eleven. We provide a happy, caring and supportive environment focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for our children.
Main Areas of Responsibility
The main responsibilities of this role will be to coordinate all administrative functions to assist in the smooth running of the Academy. The principal accountabilities are as follows:
* To be responsible for the management of the Academy office;
* To be responsible for the Finance for the Academy;
* To be responsible for the HR for the Academy;
* To be responsible for the Health and Safety of the Academy;
* To line lead the office staff and delegate work appropriately;
* To provide PA/administrative support to the Principal.

Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
* Appropriate degree or equivalent level of Education
* Good understanding of databases, including ability to use database to process reports and statistics
* Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation.
* knowledge of personal assistant roles and responsibilities
* Human resources experience e.g. recruitment and monitoring attendance
* Several years' experience working in an office environment at senior level.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience of using Bromcom or other MIS
* Experience of working with the general public.
* Experience of using, maintaining and developing administrative systems.
