Based in Dumfries and Galloway, we care for Young People with varied interests and requirements, so each person is respected and valued as an individual, with tailored programmes to address the specific and changing needs of the individual. Responsibilities include: Answer main reception telephone, managing the calls in a clear and professional manner Order and maintain stationery, bathroom and kitchen stocks, raising purchase orders Work closely with the Home managers and the senior management team. Develop systems to ensure the smooth running of the homes Take minutes at meetings as required Manage senior managers diary Provide administration support during inspections Complete PVG’s applications and renewals Ensure all paperwork relative to the homes is up to date Monitor and manage petty cash for the homes Manage the reception area appearance, ensuring that the environment is clean and tidy Receive, sort and distribute the post and deliveries, both incoming and outgoing General administration duties Willing to be trained as a First Aider and Fire Officer and any other training The candidate will have: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook Proven attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks A good understanding of the Data Protection Act 1998 An excellent telephone manner Good organisation and time management skills Why CareTech?
