Overview
It is crucial that as a member of the Shop & Space Planning team you will have a clear understanding of the business critical functions and it’s priorities. Relating to both their own projects and the wider workload of the team and business. Having confidence to discuss deadlines, finances and putting realistic delivery expectations at the forefront of the work.

Able to manage difficult conversations, maintain relationships and know when to raise something to the appropriate teams or individuals without relying on them to cross every T.
Within the ever-changing world of work, it is essential that the Construction Project Management roles are multi skilled and dynamic in their approach. Though they often have a predominant focus (ABC’s and project delivery) their skillset is broad and transferable making them an asset to any team that they are collaborating with.
Skill sharing is essential within this role and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
End to end service
* Multi skilled approach providing a smooth delivery
* Supporting with the operating procedures for all projects
* Ensuring internal documents and folders are accurately completed for historical use
* Multiple cross country work - bringing efficiencies and alignment in processes for all markets
* Ensuring correct contracts are in place for safeguarding of the business
Capex management
* Ensuring budgets are created collaboratively with the team, accurately and managed effectively to reflect opportunities
* Reporting of Capex spends according to internal finance & property systems
Construction, buying, ethics, environment and manufacture management
* Overseeing construction management including external consultants, contractors and space planners
* Onsite management inc H&S and safeguarding
* Working parallel with quantity surveyors
* Management of store closures & dilapidations
* Collaborative ownership with the team of projects no matter how big or small
* Value engineer construction costs to support design and to meet business needs
* Manage each project from lease signing to opening
* Supporting the s estate upkeep with range rollouts, concept development
* Review existing pool of go to manufacturers and suppliers that meet the business requirements Management of fixtures & fittings including sourcing, manufacture, delivery & installation
* Bring Lush ethics into every collaborative decision
* Collaborate with your teams for continued development of materials, sourcing and costs to suit business requirements and ensure we use materials that are fit for purpose, running trials where needed
Product, design & sales
* Providing support for any product range reviews and roll outs where required
* Increased knowledge in products, design methods and merchandising for sales, providing practical support and having awareness of the details
* Delivering the best customer service experience
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience of working parallel with quantity surveyors, preferred but not essential
* Experience of ensuring correct contracts are in place for safeguarding of the business
* This role will require travel as and when required, flexibility is key. Capability for extended travel across the UK&I & Europe
* Global support - think local act global
* Passion for retail and shopping experiences, with added interest in future thinking
* No job too big or too small, happy to get stuck in and hands on with practical tasks
* Basic understanding of technology and computer skills, and a huge enthusiasm for learning, sharing and self development
* A team player with strong collaboration skills, working closely with designers to help bring the project to life. This includes sharing ideas, giving feedback, and ensuring all areas have been detailed and thought through for efficiency and success
