Job Title: Performance Insight Analyst
Location: Durrington, Worthing, West Sussex
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 Hours a week
Salary: Up to £33,800 per annum depending on skills and experience
Key Purpose of the Job:
You will be accountable for supporting the overview and alignment of our operational performance in networks, including its year-on-year improvement in line with our upcoming AMP8 objectives. You will need to align with internal data teams as well as the different regional capabilities and front-line staff in the creation of a standardized view of performance across Leakage, Interruptions to Supply, CMEX, and CRI.
To work within a team to develop strategies and methods to learn from failure, working with our frontline staff; implementing policies and procedures for the net benefit of the organization.
Accountabilities:
* Learning outcomes associated with our commitments
* Familiarize, own, and adopt business systems to enable analysis and delivery of learning outcomes.
* Understand in depth our Outcome Delivery Incentive (ODI) deliverables.
* Work through the organization, from senior management to front line staff.
* Alongside the function, take part in the implementation of lean practices to deliver efficiency.
* Quantify and dynamically assess organizational workflow.
* Effectively scope and seek opportunities to improve performance of the WN&C through data interpretation and key metrics deliverance.
* Attend Performance Hubs and support WN&C Team in the implementation of improvement.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications/Experience:
Key Skills:
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially front-line staff, present findings, and drive improvement.
* Good reporting capabilities, learning internal systems and mastering effective and efficient data production for a wide audience.
* A sound working knowledge of ODIs and their impact financially.
* Good leadership experience in reducing the consequence of interruptions to supply.
* A good operational water network understanding.
* Ability to work within a team or complete solo taskings/projects.
Experience / Capability:
* Proven investigative and analytical skills, to enable delivery of performance improvements.
* Strong IT skills including MS Excel.
* Self-starter with ability to manage own workload.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Coaching and facilitation skills.
* Able to engage, influence, and connect with others.
* Confidence to provide constructive feedback.
