Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Ensuring the surgeries are prepared appropriately for the days patients in accordance with current regulations. Carrying out and recording daily maintenance, servicing and pre-user checks of dental equipment reporting defects in accordance with current equipment care policies. Ensuring a daily test radiograph is taken and processed with all findings reported in accordance with extant policies and signed off by a clinician or trained individual. Prepare, mix and handle dental materials in accordance with manufacturers instructions; adhering to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations and Safety Data sheets. Ensure adequate stocks of consumable dental materials are available within the surgery, maintain an effective expiry list ensuring all expired materials are removed and replaced as required. This role attract a Dental Nurse Retention Recruitment Allowance (RRA) £1500 Per Annum (p/a) or Pro Rota when part time (p/t). General Dental Council Annual Retention Fee reimbursed.
