We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A Business Partner to join our team. If you have experience of being the primary finance representative in trading performance discussions, being the go-to person for proactively producing complex trading performance reporting & analysis and enjoy a fast-paced environment this may be the role for you. We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role, comfortable working autonomously. As our FP&A Business Partner you will be the vital link between our Commercial business and Finance, the key contact to ensure consistency and quality of commercial financial functions and to drive excellent trading performance within our businesses. Reporting to the Head of FP&A (Corporate & Commercial), this role offers the opportunity to develop your finance knowledge further by working within a supportive and specialised team, who are committed to your career development and progression. This is a hybrid role working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office ( Cheltenham ) with the rest from home. Responsibilities: Business partnering: Act as the conduit between Commercial business leaders & Finance. The first port of call for finance queries, financial analysis and support, personally managing these through to satisfactory conclusions. Drive performance improvements across the pillar through provision of insightful MI and decision-making support. Working with Commercial business leaders and our data team to develop insightful and effective PowerBI dashboards and reports. Reporting and MI: Produce high quality monthly flash income and P&L reporting for Commercial reporting units; with supporting commentary. Lead the production of monthly Group reporting and board papers. Responsible for tracking, reporting and explaining the performance of new initiatives, synergies and key cost categories. Planning & other: Co-ordinate, lead and challenge the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for the Commercial division. Own acquisition investment cases, identifying risks and opportunities. Supporting FP&A projects, initiatives and tasks as required. Experience & Professional Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified with minimum 3 years post qualified experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance. Comfortable working autonomously within limited oversight. Exceptional analytical, excel and communication skills. Previous experience in a fast paced, grow focused environment, ideally in an insurance brokerage setting. Experience using large data sets and PowerBI (or similar) is highly desirable. Experience of using Acturis, OneStream and Anaplan is ideal but not essential. What do we offer in return?
