We are looking for experienced qualified electricians to join our expanding team to carry out a full range of repairs and upgrades to our varied housing stock. With over 28000 homes and various additional buildings you could be working within our customers’ homes, in void properties or as part of the M&E department providing maintenance and upgrades to our properties.
What will I be doing?
You will be completing all aspects of commercial and domestic electrical maintenance and installations; this includes extensive test and inspection work. You will be working on both domestic and commercial installations, responsible for the control and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and electric heating systems whilst working in accordance with all health and safety procedures. You will provide excellent customer service, with a focus on first time fix resolution.
You will play a key role within the team and must have the ability to work on your own and within the established team and have good communication skills.
What do I need to have?
1. Full electrical qualifications
2. C&G Electrical Qualifications 2391 or 2394/5 - not essential
3. Inspection & and testing work experience.
4. Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant building, housing, customer services, health and safety, regulatory and technical legislation and best practice
5. Use of IT systems/software – e.g PDA/Tablet, certification software, outlook.
6. To be flexible, have excellent customer service skills and be well organised.
7. Commitment to our values.
8. A full driving licence.
