The Senior Employment Law Advisor / Solicitor will play a fundamental role in the successful delivery of our business objectives.
Why your role matters
Essentially your role will be to provide high quality, pragmatic and efficient litigation advice to WorkNest’s SME, LME & Mid-Market clients. Your robust Litigation experience will enable you to provide a brilliant service in relation to your own portfolio of Employment Tribunal cases, including those for LME & Mid-Market clients, complex cases, and multi-party proceedings. We would love for you to share your knowledge and experience with our trainees, paralegals, and junior advisers, empowering them to develop into proficient professionals in Employment Law.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide support to a portfolio of clients, including some of WorkNest's largest and most significant clients, handling their Employment Tribunal cases. Throughout this role, you will cultivate enduring relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor by ensuring advise in a timely, efficient, accurate, practical, and commercial manner.You will provide high quality advice and legally compliant documentation, especially in relation to Employment Tribunal cases, to our clients. You will adhere to Employment Tribunal deadlines and external insurance procedures. You will support the commercial team with proposals and prospective clients’ meetings and contribute to the efficiencies of the team through identifying and sharing process improvements, shared resources, and continuous improvement input.
About you
We are recruiting for a qualified legal professional (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive). Candidates with a relevant equivalent HR/ER qualification or Litigation experience maybe considered. To be eligible for this role you will ideally be a minimum of 3 to 4 years PQE as an employment law solicitor/adviser. Excellent technical and up to date knowledge of employment law is pivotal alongside strong commercial awareness, high standards of client care and evidence of high-level achievement with business objectives.
Where you’ll be working
This is a hybrid role (a minimum of two days per week in the Glasgow office). Fully remote is also a consideration.
