Digital Training and Consultation Practitioner
As a Digital Training and Consultation Worker, you'll be at the forefront of supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people in schools and education settings.
You'll lead the way by guiding young people through digital intervention and therapeutic approaches providing regular check-ins to track their progress, offer encouragement, and adjust support to meet their unique needs.
You'll have the opportunity to deliver impactful training to school staff, helping them build confidence and skills in supporting students facing mental health challenges. Your expertise will empower staff to make a real difference to children and young people, equipping them with the tools to improve emotional well-being in the classroom.
In this role, you'll collaborate with schools and key partners, sharing knowledge and resources to create a positive mental health environment across the education system.

Main duties of the job
To thrive in this role, you will have a strong background in mental health or working with children and young people, with relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, or an accredited counselling qualification.
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Experience in developing and delivering high-quality training for professionals, including education staff
* Proven ability to facilitate individual and group work with children, young people, or young adults
* Expertise in inter-agency and multi-disciplinary collaboration
* Strong background in working with mental health and well-being needs
* In-depth understanding of safeguarding principles, legislation, and confidentiality
* Knowledge of Gillick competency and mental capacity in relation to children and young people
* Proficiency in psychosocial interventions and evidence-based digital interventions
* Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage with children, families, and professionals
A coaching qualification is also desirable. Additionally, you will have a positive, flexible attitude, able to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and stay committed to professional development.
