Assist the store manager and deputy manager with staff rotas, shift arrangements, absences, and sick leaves management.
Support deputy manager and store manager to ensure the store operations are kept at the Companys standards, acts on behalf of the store management team when the store manager and deputy manager is absent.
Oversee and supervise day-to-day operations of all departments including distributing the workload evenly and that motivation and performance levels are maintained.
Carry out Gap Check daily and create order for products that will be or are low on stock.
Supervise staff members including coaching and motivating teammates to meet and exceed expectations.
To organise, delegate, manage and monitor performance of staff including maintain a welcoming, safe environment, identifying and minimising all potential risks to users of premises, the Company and property.
To assist management with hiring processes, new team member training and responsible for ensuring appropriate shift cover.
Carry out performance reviews with employees and supervisors to ensure that the Companys procedures are followed and that the customer service is maintained to the Companys standards.
Ensure all staff members are trained and compliant with EPOS guidelines.
Support the other members of the store management team in maintain the Companys standards.
Ensure the planned labour are fully utilised at all the time within the store. Adjustment on task assignment should be made from time to time.
Ensure the store is organised, clean and attractive to customers at all times.
Identify talent and accountable for departmental promotion and succession.
Comply with the Companys Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
Ensure all employees are provided the correct protective equipment.
Report all safety hazards and risk factors to the store manager without delay.
Take on key holder responsibility opening and closing the store.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in management and stock control
Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment
Self-driven, motivated, and approachable personality
Excellent communication, training and coaching, and leadership skills
Ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving Strong customer service skills
