Purpose of the Job
To provide a comprehensive, professional and effective HR administrative and some advisory support services to Keystone Group Companies.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
* Support the full employee life cycle, including managing the on-boarding process, induction, probation reviews, starters, leavers etc.
* Uploading and managing all vacancies on Networx and liaising with the relevant HR Partner or hiring manager. Also providing managers with guidance and assistance, liaising with agencies, screening and interviewing when required.
* Provide managers with advice and support on ER issues - including disciplinary meetings relating to sickness, absence and AWOL and support with note taking.
* Develop letters regarding disciplinary hearings, counselling forms, etc.
* Provide managers and employees with advice on Employment law and HR policies, escalating issues to the HR Business Partner as required.
* Maintain all personal files and ensure files are kept up to date.
* Raise correspondence including: offer letters and contracts, reference requests, salary review letters, probation reviews, absence meeting outcomes. Track probation periods and end dates for fixed term contracts.
* Act as the HRIS Super user, keeping the system updated with new starter details, changes and leaver information. Raise the associated starter/leaver forms and compliance and audit checks.
* Support the collation of monthly HR reports as required.
* Support the HR Business Partners with training needs analysis/delivery.
* Ensure employee training and development records are kept up to date.
* Promote Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed.
* Assist and support the benefits within the company such as cycle to work, key employee awards and long service awards.
* Develop and propose enhancements to HR processes as appropriate.
* Assist with HR projects, as required.
* Creation of PO numbers.
* To carry out other tasks as deemed necessary, which are within the job holder's capability.
Qualifications and experience:
* CIPD level 3 desirable but not essential.
* Proven experience working at an HR Assistant level, ideally in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with managers and colleagues of all levels.
* Tact and discretion and an ability to work in a confidential environment.
* Experience of using an HRIS system, Cascade experience is desirable.
* Strong administrative skills, including experience of drafting letters, contracts and policies, as well as a good attention to detail.
* Good knowledge and understanding of employment law.
* Strong organisational and excellent IT skills.
