WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILSThe Advanced Clinical Practitioner will Need to apply all pillars of advanced clinical Practice within their role. Practice as a core member of the Medical Team, take responsibility for the medical management of a defined patient or client group under guidance of the Consultant responsible for the care episode. Be confident working autonomously and competent reviewing T&O inpatient; instigating management plans based on clinical assessment, including non-medical prescribing. Apply their knowledge and expertise of T&O management. Provide specialist advice, education and support to our T&O patients and their carers, trainee colleagues and other health care professionals. Practice clinically within agreed care protocols by the Designated Medical Lead / Practitioner. Be proactive in maintaining own competency and contribute to clinical governance. Advise and support the Care Group management team regarding overall service strategy and future development of the service. Work across professional, departmental and Trust boundaries as required to develop and support patient-centred seamless care. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR To be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate you have successfully completed a Level 7 masters degree in advanced clinical Practice which must include non-medical prescribing.Have a minimum of 2 years secondary care expertise in relevant speciality, i.e. Trauma & Orthopaedics.We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious practitioner with strong leadership capabilities who enjoys working within a dynamic and fast paced environment.
