About the Role: As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of several key repairs and maintenance contracts, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards. Working with several housing providers in the region, you will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain close communication with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple repairs and maintenance contracts across the North East. Ensuring all works are carried out to high standards of quality, safety, and within agreed timeframes and budgets. Building and maintaining strong relationships with housing providers, acting as their primary point of contact. Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Managing budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting performance targets. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. About You: The ideal candidate will be an organised and proactive individual with a proven track record in managing repairs and maintenance contracts, ideally within the social housing or construction sector. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and build strong client relationships. Essential Requirements: Previous experience managing contracts within the repairs, maintenance, or housing sectors. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring safe working practices.
