ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, execute and manage a comprehensive digital strategy for ELLE.COM/UK which aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of ELLE and Hearst.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, partnership leads, SEO, affiliates, data analytics, and technology, to ensure seamless execution of strategy initiatives, as brand pivots to prioritising engagement, while maintaining scale.
3. Lead overall site workflow, ensuring wider team department heads and wider team delivers content creation and uploads, project manage the Apple News supplements, be the first point of contact for commercial, video, ecomm opportunities, and more.
4. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure direct reports and wider team are effective in their roles and digital output and maintain team integration. Contribute to a positive culture and working environment on the team.
ABOUT YOU
1. Proven experience in a digital editor (or equivalent title) role.
2. An in-depth knowledge of data analysis, SEO, e-commerce, editing, writing, etc. in order to produce monthly reports and action points from analysing data.
3. A comprehensive contacts book, from fashion PRs, advertisers and journalists, to designers and talent reps.
4. Prior experience managing a team of more than three writers/editors.
5. An interest and understanding of women’s interest stories, fashion and beauty.
