As a Claims Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our Claims team. Working closely with the Claims Operations Manager, you’ll be instrumental in streamlining processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting key projects that shape the success of our Claims operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your expertise in delegated authorities and deepen your understanding of regulatory requirements, all while working with a supportive and driven team.
About the role
Binder Renewal Management: Collaborate with the Claims Operations Manager to ensure seamless annual binder renewal. Review slips for claims accuracy, liaise with the binder broker, and oversee timely FDO signing and loss fund collection.
Claims Reporting: Partner with the Management Information team to meet all claims reporting requirements and create impactful dashboards and reports.
Insights & Analysis: Take ownership of claims commentary and statistics for inclusion in quarterly underwriting meetings.
Operational Documentation: Develop and maintain critical operational documents, including processes and procedures.
System Enhancement: Work with IT to optimize claims system functionality, enhance data output, and support adjusters with system tools.
Audit Support: Serve as the primary contact for auditors requesting claims documentation, and help manage audit responses and action plans.
Training & Development: Collaborate with Learning & Development to publish training materials and ensure documentation compliance.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Tackle diverse tasks and projects as needed, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
