Our school supports students aged 11-17 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs, including speech, language, communication challenges, and behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. Role and Responsibilities: As an Education Support Worker, your key duties will include: Providing individual or small group support to students in the classroom, helping them to engage with the curriculum. Assisting students with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, and emotional needs. Helping students to build life skills, including social, emotional, and academic skills. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans for students. Offering mentoring and guidance to students to help them manage emotions, self-regulate, and develop confidence. Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment. What We Are Looking For: Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or SEND environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students. Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting students through challenges.
