Howdens is recruiting a Dispatch Operative to join our team based at Howdens Worksurfaces, our solid surface production facility in Holme on Spalding Moor, East Yorkshire. Our Dispatch Operatives are accountable for the efficient movement of out bound goods and the safe storage and careful handling of our stored items in line with SOPS and Health and Safety processes. A good communicator, you will need to communicate effectively with your stock controllers, colleagues and team members and will also need to escalate any health and safety or quality issues if needed. Pay Rate: £15.62ph Night Shift Allowance £4571.32pa monthly production bonus and daily meal allowance Shift Pattern : Sunday to Thursday, 9:45pm – 6am What will you be doing as a Dispatch Operative Loading and securing hard surface finished goods onto vehicles using forklift trucks and manual handling equipment Accountable for the quantity and quality checking of all finished goods. Preparing pallets for shipping of finished goods. Processing goods out on our internal warehouse system. Reporting any damages or missing goods to Dispatch Leader.
